Blackboard allows you to collect discussion board postings and customise the view of selected messages. These options can include showing only messages from one person or viewing messages within a single thread on one screen. The Collect option is helpful when viewing a very active list, for copying and pasting messages into Word or for printing.

To Collect Thread Messages

1. Select some messages, tick the boxes to the left of the messages you want, or Select All in the dropdown menu and click the Go button.



2. Click the Collect button
   
3. A new 'collection page' will appear with all the selected messages, scroll down the page to read all the messages.

To Sort Collected Messages

1. You may sort the messages displayed on the collection page, select an option from the Sort by drop down menu. You may sort messages by Author, Date, Subject and Thread.
2. To filter the messages by individual Authors select the author name from the Filter Author dropdown menu and press Go.
3. Press Print to print the current collection page view.
